How the 2025-2026 Rate Increases Will Affect You

Seattle City Light is working towards an equitable clean energy future for our customers. This fall, we provided over 93,000 income-qualified residential customers with $200 bill credits. This credit was funded by the Washington Climate Commitment Act. City Light was allocated $18.7 million. We were able to extend this bill credit to approximately 20% of our customers. We worked with the Washington State Department of Commerce to distribute these credits.
