What is carbon neutrality?

Our Vegetation Management team and the Woodland Park Zoo have teamed up in a fun way. Typically, our vegetation management teams compost or dispose of branches and other trimmings. But this partnership makes better use of our trimmings while supporting the zoo’s conservation efforts. Tree trimmings, like willow and maple, are turned into tasty, high-fiber snacks for zoo animals such as giraffes and rhinos. Keep reading to learn more about this partnership!
